2. CONTACT

For privacy-related questions, contact, support, or account issues, use official Submine Discord tickets.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Submine may collect information that you provide directly, information generated by your use of Submine, technical information from the launcher and server systems, and operational information needed to run, secure, moderate, and improve Submine.

3.1 Account information

Submine uses its own internal account system.

If password-based authentication is used, passwords are stored using protected authentication methods such as password hashing. If authentication is handled through another method, Submine stores only the data needed for that authentication flow.

This data is used for support, moderation, analytics, compatibility checks, operational decisions, launcher reliability, performance analysis, and project maintenance.

3.7 Crash logs

Submine does not automatically download crash logs to its servers unless explicitly implemented or submitted through a Submine-controlled system.

If you manually submit crash logs, screenshots, logs, diagnostic files, support files, or similar material, those files may contain system information, local file paths, usernames, mod lists, configuration data, tokens, or other technical information.

You are responsible for checking files before submitting them.

Submine may use submitted logs and diagnostic files for support, debugging, moderation, abuse investigation, compatibility analysis, and operations.

Disabling cookies or local storage may break login, account access, website features, or other Submine functionality.

4. OPTIONAL AND REQUIRED DATA

Some launcher telemetry may be toggleable.

Not all telemetry, logs, authentication records, operational records, security records, moderation records, or server records can be disabled.

If a setting disables a specific category of telemetry, Submine may still collect everything that is not explicitly disabled, including data required for:

Submine may store payment-related records needed for account handling, fraud prevention, moderation, support, accounting, legal compliance, donation handling, and dispute resolution.

Submine does not currently send regular emails.

If email functionality is introduced, Submine may use email for account verification, password reset, security alerts, application status, support, service notices, or important operational messages.

Submine may communicate with users through the launcher, website, Discord, tickets, announcements, or other official Submine channels.

15. CHILDREN AND MINORS

Submine is not made specifically for children.

Minecraft is used by many age ranges, and Submine may allow users under 18 only where permitted under the Terms of Service and with guardian permission.

Submine does not provide separate child-specific data handling. Data from minors is collected and handled in the same operational way as other user data unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If a parent or guardian allows a minor to use Submine, the parent or guardian accepts responsibility for that user’s activity and data processing under this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
