These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Submine, including the Submine website, launcher, Minecraft server, Discord/community spaces, APIs, authentication systems, downloadable files, modpack distribution, related services, and any official Submine-operated infrastructure.

By accessing or using Submine, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Submine.

Submine is operated by the Submine administration from Ukraine.

1. LANGUAGE

These Terms are written in English. The English version is the official and controlling version. Any translations are provided only for convenience. If a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version controls.

2. ELIGIBILITY

Submine is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

If you are under 18, you may use Submine only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use Submine, the parent or legal guardian accepts responsibility for that user’s activity, conduct, account, and compliance with these Terms.

Submine does not provide separate child-directed account rules, safety modes, or legal treatment. Accounts are moderated and handled under the same operational assumptions unless the administration decides otherwise.

3. ACCESS MODEL

Submine is free to access unless stated otherwise.

Access is not automatic. Users must create an account and apply through the official Submine systems. Applications are reviewed by the Submine administration.

The Submine administration may accept, reject, delay, suspend, or revoke access to any application, account, invitation, or service access at its discretion.

Access to Submine is a revocable permission, not a right.

4. ACCOUNTS

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it.

You may not:

  • share your account;
  • sell, trade, transfer, lend, rent, or give away your account;
  • sell, trade, transfer, or distribute invitations;
  • use alternate accounts without permission from the Submine administration;
  • impersonate another person, player, administrator, staff member, or entity;
  • provide false or misleading account information where accurate information is required.

The administration may treat activity from your account as activity performed by you.

5. SERVICE SCOPE

These Terms apply to all Submine-related services and spaces, including:

  • the website;
  • the launcher;
  • the Minecraft server;
  • Discord/community channels;
  • authentication systems;
  • APIs;
  • downloadable content;
  • modpack files;
  • server files;
  • support systems;
  • official announcements;
  • related Submine-operated infrastructure.

Rules may also be enforced outside the game when the conduct affects Submine, its users, its infrastructure, its safety, its reputation, or its operation.

6. LAUNCHER AND CLIENT RULES

The Submine launcher is provided only for accessing Submine services.

You may not modify the Submine client, launcher, modpack, authentication flow, integrity checks, server connection flow, join token flow, or related files except where explicitly allowed by the Submine administration.

Any unauthorized modification to the client, launcher, modpack, or related access systems is a breach of these Terms.

You may not:

  • bypass launcher authentication;
  • bypass join tokens;
  • bypass integrity checks;
  • bypass mod checks;
  • use hacked clients;
  • use cheat clients;
  • use unauthorized client modifications;
  • inject unauthorized code;
  • manipulate packets;
  • automate gameplay without permission;
  • interfere with the launcher;
  • interfere with update systems;
  • extract protected resources;
  • redistribute launcher files;
  • redistribute modpack files;
  • redistribute server access files;
  • decompile, reverse engineer, tamper with, modify, or abuse the launcher or related systems except where this is expressly permitted by law.

Regular Minecraft installations outside Submine are not the concern of these Terms unless they are used to access, affect, abuse, bypass, or interfere with Submine.

7. CHEATING, EXPLOITS, AND TECHNICAL ABUSE

Cheating is prohibited.

You may not:

  • use exploits;
  • abuse bugs;
  • duplicate items through unintended mechanics;
  • bypass gameplay restrictions;
  • abuse server mechanics;
  • attack, overload, scan, scrape, disrupt, or interfere with Submine infrastructure;
  • perform or assist DDoS attacks;
  • distribute malware;
  • attempt unauthorized access;
  • attempt privilege escalation;
  • interfere with authentication;
  • interfere with moderation systems;
  • interfere with logging, telemetry, or security systems;
  • use tools intended to gain unfair advantage or unauthorized access.

If you discover a serious bug, exploit, bypass, vulnerability, or security issue, you must report it through official Submine channels and must not abuse or disclose it publicly.

8. CONDUCT RULES

You may not use Submine to engage in:

  • doxxing;
  • impersonation;
  • malware distribution;
  • scams;
  • fraud;
  • DDoS activity;
  • exploit abuse;
  • unauthorized access;
  • threats;
  • targeted harassment;
  • evasion of moderation;
  • ban evasion;
  • spam;
  • malicious disruption;
  • coordinated abuse;
  • activity that damages Submine, its users, its infrastructure, or its operation.

The administration may moderate conduct based on context, intent, impact, and risk to the project.

9. MODERATION AND ENFORCEMENT

The Submine administration may moderate, warn, mute, kick, suspend, ban, restrict, delete, revoke access, remove content, revoke invitations, or terminate accounts at its discretion.

The administration may act with or without prior notice.

A ban, suspension, or access revocation may apply to:

  • the website;
  • the launcher;
  • the Minecraft server;
  • Discord/community spaces;
  • APIs;
  • applications;
  • invitations;
  • accounts;
  • related Submine services.

Attempts to evade moderation may result in additional restrictions.

The administration is not required to provide evidence, internal logs, investigation details, moderation reasoning, or appeal access unless it chooses to do so.

10. USER CONTENT

User content includes, but is not limited to:

  • builds;
  • signs;
  • books;
  • chat messages;
  • screenshots;
  • videos;
  • streams;
  • skins;
  • usernames;
  • submitted text;
  • application content;
  • Discord messages;
  • support messages;
  • bug reports;
  • suggestions;
  • event participation;
  • server-created structures or story actions.

By submitting, creating, uploading, posting, or making content available through Submine, you grant Submine a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, copy, display, publish, archive, moderate, modify, remove, reproduce, and use that content for Submine-related operation, administration, documentation, archival, moderation, news, and promotional purposes.

Submine may use player screenshots, videos, builds, chat messages, and submitted content only for Submine-related promotion, news, documentation, archival, or community purposes.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit or create your content and that your content does not violate the rights of others.

11. BUILDS, WORLDS, ITEMS, AND PROGRESS

The Submine administration controls the server world, server files, world data, inventories, items, regions, progression, economy, technical systems, and gameplay state.

Player builds and creations that are identifiable as created by specific players are treated as player-created content inside Submine. The creator receives a broad permission to use, reference, screenshot, record, and claim authorship of their own creation, subject to these Terms and the rights of Submine.

Submine retains the right to host, store, display, modify, move, delete, archive, restore, reset, wipe, or otherwise manage all server-side content, including player builds.

If a build, item, structure, region, or creation is not reasonably identifiable as belonging to a specific player, the administration may treat it as Submine-controlled server content.

You do not own server-side items, inventories, currency, access, progress, permissions, ranks, locations, world state, or gameplay data. These are revocable parts of the Submine service.

Submine may reset, wipe, corrupt, restore, rollback, delete, rebalance, modify, or remove any world, item, build, region, inventory, account state, or progress at any time.

12. SCREENSHOTS, VIDEOS, STREAMS, AND PUBLIC CONTENT

You may create screenshots, videos, streams, and other media of Submine unless the administration restricts this for a specific event, area, feature, build, story moment, user, or technical reason.

Public content must not reveal private information, bypassed content, unreleased content, exploits, vulnerabilities, private staff systems, private tickets, private logs, or hidden access mechanisms unless the administration allows it.

Submine may use public or submitted Submine-related media for Submine-related promotion, news, archive, documentation, and community materials.

13. PAYMENTS, DONATIONS, AND REFUNDS

Submine is currently free to access unless stated otherwise.

Submine may introduce donations, paid features, ranks, cosmetics, subscriptions, supporter benefits, or other payment-related systems in the future.

Donations are handled at the discretion of the Submine administration. Refunds may be granted or refused per donation, depending on the situation, payment method, abuse risk, operational cost, and administrative judgment.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, payments do not create ownership of accounts, items, ranks, progress, server access, or permanent service rights.

Chargebacks, payment abuse, fraud, or misuse of payment systems may result in account suspension or termination.

14. DATA AND PRIVACY

Submine’s data collection and handling practices are defined in the Submine Privacy Policy.

The launcher and related systems may collect technical, account, security, diagnostic, telemetry, or operational data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Telemetry is optional where Submine provides an opt-in or opt-out mechanism.

Security logs, account records, moderation records, server logs, launcher records, and operational records may be retained indefinitely unless the administration decides otherwise or applicable law requires deletion.

Submine may share data with service providers, hosting providers, storage/CDN providers, Discord, infrastructure operators, analytics systems, payment providers, legal authorities, or other relevant parties where needed for operation, security, compliance, investigation, enforcement, or legal reasons, as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Submine may rely on third-party platforms or services, including but not limited to Minecraft, Microsoft, Mojang, Discord, hosting providers, storage providers, CDN providers, analytics providers, and payment processors.

Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

Submine is not responsible for third-party outages, bans, restrictions, account issues, policy changes, data handling, downtime, or service failures.

16. NO AFFILIATION WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT

Submine is an independent Minecraft server project.

Submine is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or officially connected to Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or any of their affiliates.

Minecraft and related names, marks, assets, software, accounts, services, and intellectual property belong to their respective owners.

Submine does not grant any rights to Minecraft itself. Access to Minecraft must be obtained separately and lawfully from the appropriate rights holder or authorized platform.

17. MINECRAFT LICENSE REQUIREMENT

Submine requires users to have lawful access to Minecraft.

By using Submine, you represent that you have a valid Minecraft account, valid Minecraft license, and any rights required to access and use Minecraft under the applicable Minecraft, Microsoft, and Mojang terms.

Submine does not provide Minecraft, does not sell Minecraft accounts, does not provide Minecraft licenses, and does not authorize unlawful access to Minecraft.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Minecraft with Submine is lawful and properly licensed.

If you access Minecraft, Submine, the Submine launcher, the Submine server, or any related Submine service without a valid Minecraft license or in violation of Minecraft, Microsoft, Mojang, or applicable law, you accept full responsibility and liability for that unlawful or unauthorized use.

Submine administration is not responsible for any consequences arising from your lack of a valid Minecraft account, lack of a valid Minecraft license, breach of Minecraft-related terms, account restrictions, account bans, license issues, or unlawful use of Minecraft.

18. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

Submine is provided as-is and as-available.

The administration may modify, suspend, discontinue, replace, restrict, wipe, reset, rename, restructure, or remove any part of Submine at any time.

Submine does not guarantee:

  • uptime;

  • launcher functionality;
  • server availability;

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Submine is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

The Submine administration disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, reliability, and uninterrupted operation.

You use Submine at your own risk.

20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Submine administration has zero liability for damages, losses, claims, costs, or expenses arising from or related to Submine.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • lost access;
  • bans;

  • punitive damages.

If liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

21. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Submine administration, operators, moderators, developers, contributors, infrastructure providers, and related parties from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • your use of Submine;

22. TERMINATION

These Terms remain in effect until terminated.

You may stop using Submine at any time.

The Submine administration may suspend or terminate your account, access, invitation, application, or permissions at any time.

After termination, you must stop using Submine services and delete any local copies of Submine launcher files, modpack files, or other Submine-distributed files if requested by the administration.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect, including sections related to user content, ownership, data, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and general provisions.

23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

The Submine administration may update these Terms at any time.

Changes may be posted through the website, launcher, Discord, or other official channels.

Continued use of Submine after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using Submine.

24. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any disputes related to these Terms or Submine shall be handled under the jurisdiction of competent courts in Ukraine, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

25. GENERAL PROVISIONS

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and the Submine administration regarding Submine services, except where additional specific terms apply, such as the launcher EULA, Privacy Policy, event rules, community rules, or payment terms.

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.

Failure by the administration to enforce any part of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without permission from the Submine administration.

The Submine administration may assign, transfer, delegate, or restructure its rights and obligations if needed for operation of the project.

For legal, account, privacy, moderation, or support issues, contact the Submine administration through official Discord tickets.
